Table Tents

All Posting Materials:

  • Must be approved by the Office of Student Activities
  • Must be approved prior to posting or distribution on the TCNJ campus
  • Must adhere to The College’s policy against harassment and discrimination which states that communications may not be in “offensively coarse language, or any other manner likely to cause annoyance or alarm.”
  • May not make advertise alcoholic drink specials or the explicit availability of alcohol
  • Must include the full name of the sponsor(s)

On-site Approval Process:

1. Bring material to the Office of Student Activities
2. Fill out an Approval Request Form
3. Material will be approved once per day and available by 12pm the following business day in your organization’s mailbox*

*Please Note:  All others, including TCNJ departments and offices, must pick up their materials in the Office of Student Activities.

Online Approval Process:

1. Download and complete the Approval Request Form.
2.  Send an email to stuactiv@tcnj.edu including your completed Approval Request Form and the material to be approved attached as a .jpg, .gif,  .bmp, .pdf, or .docx file
3. Material will be approved once per day and available by 12pm the following business day in your organization’s mailbox*

*Please Note:  All others, including TCNJ departments and offices, must pick up their materials in the Office of Student Activities.

Table Tents (TCNJ ORGANIZATIONS, DEPARTMENTS, & OFFICES ONLY)

1. Table tents have six sides assigned in the following manner

  • One (1) to the venue hosting the table tent display
  • One (1) to the College Union Board
  • Four (4) available to student organizations for reservation

2. Each student organization is limited to two table tent reservations per semester
3. Each table tent must be 5”x7” with Portrait orientation
4. Table tents are located in the following venues:

  • Lions Den Food Court
  • Brower Student Center Atrium and Balcony
  • The Rathskellar
  • The Atrium @ Eickhoff
  • T-Dubbs

5. The sponsoring organization is responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the appropriate number of copies are made
  • Cutting each table tent  to the appropriate dimensions
  • Dropping off table tents at the following locations no later than 1 business day prior to the scheduled table tent assignment.
  • 75 copies to the Brower Student Center Information Desk
  • 70 copies to the TCNJ Dining Services Office (Located in the C-Store)

6. All reservations will be assigned for a one week period starting on Monday through the following Sunday.
7. Staff at each venue will be responsible for distributing the copies to the table tents in their area on Monday.
8. Student organizations may not remove or place materials into table tents on their own.
